A Woodworking Shop For All Skill Levels That's Safe & Affordable

In 2022, KWWCC gave back to the community in a number of ways:

• items were donated to the Rotary Club for their online auction to raise money for KidsAbility
• items were donated to the BFO-MR auction
• $1960 was raised through donations and item sales for Waterloo Region Women's Crisis Centre
• $1960 was raised through donations and item sales for Waterloo Region Food Bank
• $200 was raised through item sales for the Alzheimer's Association
• 8 wooden transport trucks were made by Steve Moores, and donated to the Toy Mountain Drive

Various members also supported individual charities through sales of items that were made at the club. This included donations to SickKids in Toronto, the Humane Society of Waterloo, the Alzheimer's Society,  the Food Bank and Bereaved Families of Ontario - Midwestern Region.

The club also built 44 tables (from donated flooring) for the Working Centre's renovation of 22 affordable housing units on Queen Street in Kitchener.

Although the province has relaxed COVID-19 regulations, we are continuing to take precautions in order to reassure our members and keep them safe. Proof of vaccination must be provided when purchasing a 2023 membership. We encourage people entering the shop to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Anyone joining the club will be given an electronic card. Once you have the card, you will use it to sign in when entering the shop and again when leaving. While waiting for the card, please sign in and out manually.

Visitors: Visitors and prospective members are welcome to drop in during open hours. Please check in with the “volunteer” on duty.
